Camping First Aid Kit Contents

A first aid kit for camping will need to contain substantially more than your at home or car first aid kit as you may be in a remote location where medical assistance is unavailable or a considerable time away. You want to update your first aid kit every six months to replenish and check all supplies. Use the first day of Spring and Autumn to check the kit and replace expired or contaminated items. Some items can leak or break open over time so use tubes, plastic bottles, or zip close bags to help prevent contamination.

Always include any specific medicines and first aid supplies members of your family may need in an emergency. Have all the first aid supplies labeled and organized for quick and easy use. Divided and organize the supplies into compartments or sections for quick access. This first aid kit includes contents for many types of emergencies, not just medical related ones.
